MARKETING IN A RECESSION:
Lessons Learned and the Impact on the Future of the A/E/C Industry
Register now for this premier industry event as we focus on marketing as the economy - and our industry - rebuilds from the recession. This conference will bring together Principals and Marketing and Business Development professionals of all levels from within the A/E/C community to examine the Recession's impact on our industry over the last year and discuss new paradigms for the future.
"It's a chance for people who are trying to build business in their A/E/C firms to come together, share stories, exchange ideas, network with potential collaborators, and learn best practices from practitioners and experts" according to SMPS NY's Immediate Past President and Founder of THE Marketing Event, Lauren Hlavenka, Director of Marketing, Handel Architects.
This year, the SMPS-NY Area Chapter joined forces with its colleagues from the AIA New York Marketing & Public Relations Committee in sponsoring the 2009 event at the Center for Architecture. "The SMPS-AIA collaboration draws on SMPS' broad constituency, which spans many sectors of the A/E/C industry, and the architects that comprise the AIA's primary constituency. This is a unique opportunity for both organizations to share resources and knowledge," according to the Co-Chair of the AIA New York Marketing and Public Relations Committee, Gretchen Bank, Associate AIA, Senior Director, Marketing & Business Development, Selldorf Architects.
