Archtober Building of the Day: David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center
Tour the privately owned public space that acts as the gateway to Lincoln Center.When: 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27
Where:Meet at the Fountain inside the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center (Broadway between 62nd and 63rd Streets)
Natural light and a variety of thoughtfully chosen materials, colors and textures, have transformed an underused passageway between New York’s Broadway and Columbus avenues into a vibrant and welcoming public atrium. Known as the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, the space offers information, tickets, performances and a place to dine, rest, or gather. Tour led by Aaron Korntreger of Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects.
