The RE:Think | Smart Environments panel discussion will elaborate on the role that architects play to expand spatial development by branching into areas of urban and brand environments, media strategy development and content creation – as the boundaries between digital media technology and architecture begins to intertwine. The typical scale of time in architecture is being re-invented by the seamless integration of real-time media displays and interactive technology. Space and the behaviors that happen in them are increasingly recorded, informed, connected, measured, projected, and interactive. The conversation will stimulate and facilitate an architectural discourse on smart environments, the experience and interaction with architecture, as well the relationships and collaborations between ad agencies, programmers, scientists, artists and an expanding field of visionary creatives.
