adAPT NYC Competition Pre-Submission Conference

Where: At The Center   

The NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) will hold a pre-submission conference to answer questions about the adAPT NYC Competition. Applicants interested in submitting a proposal are strongly encouraged to participate in this conference.

adAPT NYC is a pilot program to develop a new housing model (micro-units) for the City’s growing small-household population. HPD has issued an RFP for the design, construction, and operation of a micro-unit rental building on a site located at 335 East 27th Street in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan. A micro-unit is an innovative apartment model, which includes a kitchen and bathroom, that is smaller than what is currently allowed by regulations.

If attending in person, you must RSVP by sending an e-mail to adAPTnycRFP@hpd.nyc.gov. Please write “RSVP” in the subject line and your name and the organization you represent in the body of the e-mail.

For those who cannot attend, the conference will be live-streamed on the internet (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/adapt-nyc-competition-pre-submission-conference).
