FamilyDay@theCenter: Building Ornaments

The Greenwich Village neighborhood boasts many beautiful buildings with exquisite architectural ornaments. In this workshop, we'll start with a scavenger hunt to find examples of different types of ornament, then return to the Center and create our own designs out of clay.

Special guest Isabel Hill, author of Urban Animals, will be on hand to sign and sell copies of her wonderful new children’s book about animal designs found on NYC buildings. (www.isabelhill.com) A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Center for Architecture Foundation.

Family Day Programs are designed for children ages 5 - 13, accompanied by an adult. 

Admission is $15/family of four; additional guests $5 each.
