Dialing in the Efficiency of Large Building Envelopes: Meeting the Carbon Challenge with Climate-Specific Passive Building Standards
AIA CES: 1.5 LU | HSW
When: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM TUESDAY, JANUARY 19
Where: At The Center
This presentation will focus on the potential of accurate, cost-optimized, climate-specific design guidelines to dial in the energy efficiency of the building envelope for large-scale buildings. Critical envelope details for large-scale multifamily and commercial passive case studies will be reviewed. The case studies will illustrate that the technology to reach ambitious passive building standards for large buildings is available and economically feasible today.
