Deep Energy Retrofit: Row House
AIA CES: 1.5 LU | HSW GBCI: 1.5 CE
When: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17
Where: At The Center
Learn how an 1899 Brooklyn row house became NYC's first Passive House-certified home in NYC through renovations that relied on energy modeling, integrative design, air tightness, and performance metrics. The architect, builder, and passive house consultant will speak in detail about how the work was accomplished and how this case study has informed subsequent projects.
Deep Energy Retrofits: NYC is a series of presentations focusing on deep retrofit strategies for existing buildings that will help achieve NYC's 80x50 GHG reduction targets. Each session showcases a retrofit project of an existing building representing a specific New York City typology. Participants can use these case studies as tools to meet 80 x 50 reduction targets in other existing buildings.
