Renting Space at the Center for Architecture
With galleries spanning three floors, the Center for Architecture provides a unique opportunity to experience architecture and design through private or public events. Since opening in 2003, the Center has hosted over 3,000 events and meetings in 15,000 square feet of event space. High ceilings, natural lighting, and state-of-the-art technology make the Center the perfect venue for your next event.

Edgar A. Tafel Hall
Named for the longtime Greenwich Village resident and apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright, Tafel Hall is the Center's signature presentation and reception space. High ceilings, a mezzanine overlook and natural lighting make this spacious and flexible gallery a perfect fit for symposia, lectures, films and receptions. The adjacent Kohn Pedersen Fox Gallery and HLW Gallery are well-suited areas for registration, table displays, and refreshments, with direct access to the Center's catering kitchen. An audio visual booth services Tafel Hall and the mezzanine with state of the art technology, including global conferencing.

Gerald D. Hines Gallery
Located on street level with abundant light, this storefront gallery is well suited for presentations and gatherings. The space is equipped with a drop-down screen and audio visual support. Events in this space flow naturally into the adjacent Margaret Helfand Gallery.

This handsome space serves as a non-circulating library open to the public when not in use by meetings. The conference table seats 16. Additional chairs accomodate up to 35. An LCD projector available, as well as wireless internet, here and throughout the Center.
Exhibition Mounting: The cork board lined walls allow for the pin-up of presentation materials, subject to the Center's exhibition schedule. Capacity: Roundtable (16-35)
A storefront space located just south of the Center's main entrance, and connected to the Center through a dramatic portal, this intimate space is ideal for receptions, luncheons, trainings, or lectures. A special feature is its flexible exhibition wall mounting system, available to use for event display materials. This space has its own entrance, if desired, and includes direct connection and use of the outdoor patio.

This shaded outdoor space is a rare city gem: a quiet refuge amid the bustling downtown scene. In good weather, this green space is an outdoor extension of the Breakthrough Space, offering a breath of fresh air for business meetings or celebrations alike.

IBEX Training Center
Equipped with 8 computer stations, projector capability, and wireless internet, this space is ideal for professional trainings.
