Strategy By Design - Studio Perspectives

When: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM MONDAY, MAY 1

Where: At The Center

The second part of a two-part series on strategy design and implementation, this panel will focus on how strategy – or lack thereof – is considered and managed within design, engineering, and real estate firms, including its challenges in implementation and lessons learned along the way. Among topics we will discuss are:

  • Strategic Plans: What they are and who they are right for
  • Pursuits: What informs decisions on which projects to pursue or pass on
  • Growth: How firms have evaluated their thresholds for growth or size maintenance
  • Marketing Budget: Is there a method to maintaining this? Is there a percentage of overall budget that is devoted to marketing efforts?
  • Staffing: Working with independent practitioners versus in-house resources, how business development efforts are dispersed and communicated firm-wide
