Penn Machinery), Festool, Hilti and Otis to showcase innovative products and parts at the New Tools for Builders tradeshow program. This is a great opportunity for architects and builders to get up to speed on recent innovations in building technology.

4:00pm Trade show opens
6:00pm Presentations followed by reception

Come and see presentations on the following products:

Caterpillar (courtesy of H.O. Penn Machinery)

  • 430EIT Backhoe Loader features a load-sensing hydraulic system which delivers a cooler hydraulic system, better fuel efficiency, quieter operation and reduced wear on components.

  • Rotex RO150 dual-mode sander achieves results up to 3x faster than traditional sanders and with nearly total dust extraction.
  • TS55 plunge-cut saw achieves finish quality cuts and does the work of a table saw, miter saw or panel saw on the jobsite.
  • PS300 jigsaw completes curves, radius work, template making, scribe work, cut outs and ultra-clean 90 degree cuts with zero-clearance splinterguard and triple blade guidance.
  • T15 cordless drill-driver is a compact and efficient brushless motor which means more power in a smaller package. Right angle and offset chuck allow for drilling/driving in tight spaces, corners and close to adjacent edges.
  • CT26 Hepa dust extractor collects dust as it happens with tool activated start up. The new Cleantex dust extractors contain HEPA filtration, self-cleaning filter bags, Antistatic design and perform at the highest suction in its class.

  • DX 860-HSN Fully Automatic Powder-Actuated Tool is a new tool used for bar joist applications which is a faster and easier way to fasten.
  • TE 1500-AVR Breaker combines tremendous impact energy with the lowest vibration in its class for exceptional demolition productivity, along with the DRS-B Dust Removal System which significantly reduces dust and the need for clean-up preparations.
  • CP 653 Speed Sleeve is a ready-to-use, one-step cable management firestop device.
  • CFP-S WB Fire protection steel spray provides Fire protection dispersion to protect load-bearing structural steel through a protective intumescent coating for indoor applications.
  • PROFIS Anchor Software performs calculations for Hilti post-installed anchor systems, rebar and now Strength Design calculations for cast-in-place bolts and headed studs.
  • MI Industrial Support Systems is a modular four-part system for supporting of cable trays, piping and miscellaneous secondary steel.

  • Gen2 Systems is an elevator system that is up to 50 percent more efficient than conventional systems. Its patented polyurethane coated-steel belts, gearless machine and roller guides eliminate the need to apply lubrication which reduces the environmental impact.
  • ReGen drives are a new elevator technology that reduces energy usage by capturing the energy normally dissipated as heat during braking. ReGen drives feed this energy back into the building’s internal electrical grid for use by other building systems.
